Difficult trading conditions very often require redefining or restructuring the business; this can lead to the necessity to reduce staffing levels or redeployment. Terry passionately believes in consistent honest communication to all stake holders. While it is not always appropriate to engage with stake holders at an early stage an open, honest and compassionate approach will pay huge dividends in the protection of the company name and the dignity of the person at work, smoothing the process of reducing employment levels or indeed full closure.
